Family Therapy Solutions Team
Speech-Language Pathologists
Christine Grierson
I graduated from Saint Louis University with my Masters degree in 2009. I have been with Family Therapy Solutions since that time and have had experiences working with children with feeding impairments and communication barriers such as apraxia, phonological and articulation disorders, stuttering difficulties, voice disorders, and delays in speech and language. I have also worked with children with a variety of diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, failure to thrive, cerebral palsy, several genetic and neurological disorders, and children with visual and hearing impairments. I believe that therapy should be functional and individualized to enable children to thrive in their everyday environments.
Denelle Whitlatch
I am a graduate of Saint Louis University with a Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. My professional experiences span from birth to school-age children focusing on an array of diagnoses (i.e. cleft lip and palate, autism spectrum disorders, neurological impairment, traumatic brain injuries, specific learning disabilities, developmental delays, childhood apraxia of speech). I have experience providing both individual and group therapy focusing on articulation, phonology, feeding, language, cognition, and social aspects. My passion is to provide family-focused intervention for each child in order to promote functional communication and overall development.
Physical Therapists
Jen Becker
I am a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Missouri. I have been a PTA for 16 years with focus only on children. I am also a mom, so I know as a parent you want “the best” for your child and I want that too. I have worked with 100′s of kids throughout my years with common and uncommon diagnoses. I have worked with kids who have Down syndrome, dev. delays, Achrondoplasia, spina bifida, preemies, chromosomal disorders, hypotonia, autism, microcephaly, neuromuscular diseases, and mitochondrial disorder. I will be a constant, positive source of energy and knowledge for your child as well as your entire family. Your family is your child’s world, so I take the whole family into consideration when working with your child and your family to reach their goals in life and therapy.
